I will be there, 22ins wheels unless I can be arsed to get new tyres for the 20ins and then change them over. Most likely get stuck somewhere in my drug dealer spec ffrr with silly wheels Cool

I wouldn't have said you are much more likely to get stuck. Same contact patch and road tyres.
Probably just more chance of damaging a rim as they'll come into contact with the ground a lot easier than smaller rims. Just avoid any small rocks. Shocked

Guys i have loads of routes on the car pc/memory map and would be happy to lead a group if required Thumbs Up
Personally i would avoid 22" rims, as the side wall of the tyre will be very prone to damage, there are a lot of flints on the plain that will slice through low profile tyres very easily.

If you want me to take you through this:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/video/video.php?v=498361209702
Or avoid if its to much then thats fine, what i will say though is a lot of the more interesting routes are deeply rutted so there is a chance you may scratch your alloys, i would look for a set of cheap 18" rims Thumbs Up

Right...boring stuff!

Maximum group size of 4 vehicles..the warden will catch you if you try to drive in a bigger route
PMR radio is a real advantage to stay in communication with the groups....CB is last season Laughing
Someone bring a rope,shears, etc
Remove your front and rear tow hitch cover
Check, double and triple check your route before driving anywhere Thumbs Up

That all looks fun, I just bought a phone screen mount for my N8 so I can film my adventures in 720p goodness.

Nice for the camera, but not sure that's how they teach you to do it. Thumbs Up

It was just for the camera...last part was just standing water after a 500 yard lane that took 45mins to negotiate..not the usual salisbury open space!

I have plenty of FFRR friendly routes, just making the detailers amongst us shudder to the core when they see how muddy your vehicle can get!

2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I'm in if I'm still at home, have travelled south for days out like this over the years so why stop now I have a FFRR! Did some fantastic runs with the Freelander Club years ago on the Ridgeway in the Avesbury area too which were heavy going in a Freebie but nobody got seriously stuck and only 3 out of 12 drivers had ever taken their cars off road. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
