I wouldn't have said you are much more likely to get stuck. Same contact patch and road tyres.
Probably just more chance of damaging a rim as they'll come into contact with the ground a lot easier than smaller rims. Just avoid any small rocks.

Personally i would avoid 22" rims, as the side wall of the tyre will be very prone to damage, there are a lot of flints on the plain that will slice through low profile tyres very easily.

Or avoid if its to much then thats fine, what i will say though is a lot of the more interesting routes are deeply rutted so there is a chance you may scratch your alloys, i would look for a set of cheap 18" rims

Maximum group size of 4 vehicles..the warden will catch you if you try to drive in a bigger route
PMR radio is a real advantage to stay in communication with the groups....CB is last season
Someone bring a rope,shears, etc
Remove your front and rear tow hitch cover
Check, double and triple check your route before driving anywhere

I'm in if I'm still at home, have travelled south for days out like this over the years so why stop now I have a FFRR!
