When sitting on the tailgate for a short while the battery invariably goes flat, is it just the interior lights coming on or something else. Obviously I can disconnect them or change to LED but is there something else? Geoff |

I've got to do what Pete's done. However with incandescent bulbs the voltage will drop below cranking capacity before the lights dim to nothing. ______________________________

You can turn your interior lights off with tailgate open with your iiDTool and then only the one light in the back comes on 2008 MY Supercharged

Interior lights should switch off after a number of minutes, tells you in the handbook. I removed the boot lights in my old td6 though as they never went off. |

It's 16 minutes and the lights turn off, along with the rest of the car going to sleep, it ignores an open door or boot thinking you made a mistake and tries to save the battery... Pete

Normal battery, is the AGM one just a straight swap - any recommendations? Geoff |

Not a straight swap as the charging cycles and voltages are different. Afaik. I think it can be changed in the ccf though would see if it was part of the LR scheme and you may get it done for you. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
