Last 2 times my darling partner has filled it up. And both times I've had to hear all about it later.

Sorry but I do.... if I'm very lucky I get double figures, on a motorway at 70mph... A weekend with off roading will usually average around 7mpg..... Larger tyres, extra weight and a lead foot don't help.... Also my miles are correct, all you lot will be doing about 10% less than you state because the mileometer will be as inacurate as the speedo... mine was about 10% out, with the larger tyres it is about spot on.... I check mine every few months as it's a good indication if anything is wrong.... Just had a Disco Sport loaner (petrol). Of course the mileage was better than my petrol FFRR. But I was surprised that it wasn't THAT much better. And that was the same route on the same day, not some fictional 'official' figures. |

Just did a trip to London and back (256 miles) and used £33 of LPG so cost was 13P per mile which equates to c. 38 MPG. Best ever yet!! |
