A new rear loom from a main dealers is about £40 it's worth taking the front bumper off as well to check the connections I found a cowboy had been in my front bumper and i had to do some repair work L322 2008 vogue

Thank you of those. But, would a broken loom allow the sensors to work occasionally as they do now?

it sound like an intermittent fault which could be a harness plug or wire easiest way it to bite the bullet and pull the bumpers off it's not a long or complicated job just a series of bolts if you get stuck

Thank you for the video. I presume that one loose wire or plug or anything would effect both front and back sensors then? So, hopefully, if I find a prob after taking off the first bumper, that will fix the other end as well.

If you have a tow bar? Plug the electrics in and it will bypass the rear system! Therefore, if the fronts work (with a light board connected) your problem is with the rear end sir If the system does not work??? (with the light board still plugged in) I would make the assumption the front is the source of your problems |

Update on my sensors, decided to order a new rear wiring loom, local Indy was £50 + vat, 5 days delivery, so phoned local RR dealer in Belfast, £25 all in with next day delivery! Great service.

if you're having trouble hearing it try using a funnel and a bit of hose stating the obvious but put the mouth of the funnel over the sensor then listen through the hose L322 2008 vogue
