I am noticing very slight vibration / resonance at about 1500 rpm . Seems to be in all gears and when car stationary and in park . I have read about torque converter and injector issues . No fluctuation in tacho when driving and all gear changes seem to be fine . Any info would be welcome please , thanks in advance

Well the good news is that it isn't the gearbox

It could be an injector fault, but they normally manifest themselves from tick over and disappear at 2000 rpm +. You could try some injector cleaner.

It could be the torque converter has somehow gone off balance, but is also unlikely.

The only thing that I can think of is possibly an engine mount, or an extreme case of paranoia (which is a side effect of owning a ffrr). You need either another TD6 ffrr owner to sit in yours or a good indy, or you need to try another car....... just in case it's nothing, or something... at least you wont be having nightmares about it  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Bearing in mind that we are talking Tractor here, I still recon that engine mount / injector fault are the most likely, actually I recon that Roverphobia (expecting something to go wrong) is the most probable cause...

have experienced vibration stationery and maneuvering slowly ie to get on off drive, this is mostly prominent in access mode.
the only other problem I have heard about is the flex plate on the g/box, but don't know that much about them, something like their is a crack in it or it's breaking up. Other than that as above.

Which is what I was thinking about...... vacuum operated I believe...... sucks the engine on to the mount at revs.

Cracked flex plate is a possibility, they are flimsy things even in a Yank...... and the ffrr's only has 3 bolts holding the torque converter to the plate, so there's more scope for failure........ I'll let you know at the weekend as I'm changing the converter on mine  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

as has been stated, try the most easiest first, although I have read the vacuum pipes that feed the engine mounts can be tricky to access.
But if you have a split or hole in one it may give you the symptoms you're experiencing.

Thanks all , " roverphobia " is definitely a symptom . It's running on 22's , didn't know the wheel size could be a problem until I came across it on the forum but it's something I'm thinking about Changing due to having to worry about any kerbs or pot holes larger than an inch. I will have a good look at the weekend , you can feel it through the floor pan rather than hear it . I have switched to bp ultimate diesel about a week ago so that' is having a phsychological effect ( is it running smoother / quieter ) , cheers

22's have you no shame... tractors are supposed to have big bouncy tyres Might be worth putting a shout out to see if someone has a set that you can try, you can't be the only ffrr owner in your area

22' Wheels , I don't think we need look any further , If you like the wheels enough you might be able to put up with a permanent low speed resonance . 2008 MY Supercharged

isn't the rule of thumb that TD6's don't like anything over 19", which is why they were never fitted with anything larger out of the factory? Because they caused this type of vibration.

I would try an borrow some standard 18" or 19" wheels and see if it goes away. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
