United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Zermatt Silver

Tonight I replaced the top hoses for nice new silicone ones and found a 1.5 inch split in one of the old ones which I am hoping is what caused the 3 instances of "restricted performance" we had yesterday.

Got it mot'd at the main dealers (passed ,advisories corroded brake pipes and worn rear bushes) they valeted it and carried out a 'health check ' then when I got it home I changed the oil and filter.

Took the wife and kiddo to Breckenridge, CO and stayed up there for a few days. Plenty of snow (over a foot while we were there) and got the rig a bit dirty in the process. Loved it!

Connected one of these Bluetooth dock adapters to the Aux input for music streaming.
Must be one of the easiest and cheapest ways to stream music.

Sailed through the MOT today, 2003 model on LPG with 129032 miles on the clock. No advisories other than rear brake pipes showing surface corrosion but having looked at the mots of a dozen FFR's over the last couple of weeks, I'm being to think that that is a factory finish !!

Had a productive day on the FF for once.
I finally sorted the rear wash wipe on the third attempt in 8 weeks, this time taking the spoiler off to remove the plastic cap on the wiper arm. The jets were indeed full of crud, but now they work perfectly.
I then had the "de-light-ful" job of swapping the rear lights - having bought a matching secondhand updated pair rather than just replacing the one I smashed.
It does look rather better without the ginger-cators whilst still being in keeping with the era of the car

I don't know how I'd manage without the tutorial videos from PowerfulUK, they really are a godsend

Put my Rangy in for the MOT today expecting the worst as I can feel a slight knocking at low speed - but it flew through, no advisories and MOT man said it was in good shape for the age of the car.

Will now get the knocking looked at and the dash pixels fixed Smile

Did a 300 mile round trip to Cheltenham, The fatty as usual was epic, sat at 85 most of the way and it was effortless. My only concern was getting back in time to watch spurs win on tv. Thumbs Up 2004 vogue
