It was a battle after initially being told I would get nothing I was then offered £300. I had to provide a receipt that I had spent it already such as a meal or the theatre. I opted for Rioja from Majestic. Finance gave me £1000. |

No as my 2013 L405 didn't miss a beat in 13,000 miles (apart from the fuel sloshing noise) so I think I have just got a bad one |

I do know what you mean. I've had a few issues with dealerships, which made me look at the Q7 brochure but boy is it ugly and too low. The big problem is that very many of us put up without perfection because perfection doesn't really exist |

Like almost everything in life. It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be the best available option. And some days the quality Gods just don't seem to care so the odd lemon gets through. But I agree, it's a real pi55er when it happens to be yours. |

I'm sorry to hear you've still got this very annoying issue. I think perhaps time has come to ask them to either replace or to smooth your way into another car.

It is like this in the fatherland. I did this once with an Aston Martin that had 3 times the same fault (ABS fault came up all the time). All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

I had a recollection that the LR warranty terms included the three goes rule, but having checked the handbook (2012) yesterday see that it does not say that. Perhaps this was in my 2004 handbook, during the BMW era and has been dropped by Ford/Tata. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |
