Another good experience here with Hunters Preston. Lent me a Disco Sport (not bad actually) for the day changed the brake pipes and gave the car a top class valet, inside and out and no issues found on the "Health Check" Geoff |

Yes, Pentland did mine two weeks ago. First time I have used them as I normally take the car to Whites in Edinburgh. They are in a swish setup in Broxburn, nice lady receptionist greets you and offers coffee. Another nice lady (Clair) on service reception books tha car in and arranges loan car if you have requested one (I got an Evoque). They rang to say the car was ready by late morning. Just £10 to pay for the loan car insurance. Job done, plus a safety check which showed no faults. Good service overall, but glad I wasn't paying. 2011 Vogue TDV8 4.4

Took mine into Lookers Battersea. Wow! Like a five star hotel with cars! Two floors of cars for sale with escalators to connect, espresso machines, chilled drinks and, er, attractive staff (not sure what is PC these days ). I sat in a fabulous 'pre-owned' L405 Autobiography - who'd have thought it; runs on DERV! Then felt I was cheating on my car...

Oh oh just got my recall letter and will have a go with the idiots here in Perigueux. I bet, they will not serve coffee, they will first tell me they can't do it, after a few nice discussions will tell me they can, but not within two weeks, will not clean my car, wont be delighted to see me France is a great country but service is a Brittish word as marketing is and most of the French do not speak a word across the boarder. |

Booked and carried out at Peter Vardy, Aberdeen (I know!) and it got a clear health check - phew! (Now wondering about their service deals, as opposed to maybe Greenbank 4x4, Dunecht 4x4 or Morrison Motors, Turriff (from whence I got it)? - thoughts from other NE'ters welcome! ).

Hmm, mine is a 2005 model and I had thought the brakes always needed a good shove to get some effective retardation.
