England 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Barolo Black

Had mine done a couple of weeks ago at Wimbledon Land Rover. First class service and even valeted the car while I waited. Thumbs Up Life is what happens while youre making other plans.

Another good experience here with Hunters Preston. Lent me a Disco Sport (not bad actually) for the day changed the brake pipes and gave the car a top class valet, inside and out and no issues found on the "Health Check" Thumbs Up Geoff

Yes, Pentland did mine two weeks ago. First time I have used them as I normally take the car to Whites in Edinburgh. They are in a swish setup in Broxburn, nice lady receptionist greets you and offers coffee. Another nice lady (Clair) on service reception books tha car in and arranges loan car if you have requested one (I got an Evoque). They rang to say the car was ready by late morning. Just £10 to pay for the loan car insurance. Job done, plus a safety check which showed no faults. Good service overall, but glad I wasn't paying. 2011 Vogue TDV8 4.4

Took mine into Lookers Battersea. Wow! Like a five star hotel with cars! Two floors of cars for sale with escalators to connect, espresso machines, chilled drinks and, er, attractive staff (not sure what is PC these days Embarassed ). I sat in a fabulous 'pre-owned' L405 Autobiography - who'd have thought it; runs on DERV! Then felt I was cheating on my car...

Having been personally escorted from parking to the desk, I signed a bit of paper and left. I returned later to this house of delights: more drinks offered, seated and told:

Brake stuff done Thumbs Up
Health check: all good Thumbs Up
Car valeted - very well, too: Thumbs Up

God alone knows what servicing must cost... Shocked

France 2007 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

Oh oh just got my recall letter and will have a go with the idiots here in Perigueux. I bet, they will not serve coffee, they will first tell me they can't do it, after a few nice discussions will tell me they can, but not within two weeks, will not clean my car, wont be delighted to see me Big Cry France is a great country but service is a Brittish word as marketing is and most of the French do not speak a word across the boarder.

Booked and carried out at Peter Vardy, Aberdeen (I know!) and it got a clear health check - phew! (Now wondering about their service deals, as opposed to maybe Greenbank 4x4, Dunecht 4x4 or Morrison Motors, Turriff (from whence I got it)? - thoughts from other NE'ters welcome! Bow down ).

They had it for most of a day and I had a Discovery Sport in exchange. Service reception staff were very efficient and friendly and it was valeted. No tin of sweets, though, and the Disco wasn't to my taste - more like an estate than a proper 4x4? - so I was very happy to get my FFRR back! Cool

Hmm, mine is a 2005 model and I had thought the brakes always needed a good shove to get some effective retardation.

I presume if I ring up the dealers and give them the registration, they will be able to check for me?

My nearest 3 dealers are Guy Salmon of Knutsford, Hunters of Chester of Hatfield of Liverpool - who would you say is the most competent and/or has the best customer service out of those 3?

Thanks,
