Anything taller is going to affect your speedo reading

I run Conti 275/40/22 L405 tyres on my 2012 322 and they are a vast improvement over 285/35/22’s sir both in comfort and appearance... Your size IMHO look too skinny! 405 size fills the arches better.. Pic bellow

IMHO 285/35 R22 are just too thin and sports-car-esk!! Also, IIRC the Pirelli ones in this size are 109 load rated which makes the car push on a bit through the twistys. I'm running Hankook RH06 iin 305/40 R22 114V and in terms of appearance, grip (wet & dry) & noise I cannot fault them. They are also M+S rated See pic below.

I welcome bit of additional rim protection with 305's too I would imagine.

Any issues with rubbing? Even over BIG bumps with a loaded car? |

I have 22 OF Tigers on mine with 285/35 x 22 ( was on when i got the car) as i haven't been able to get a reasonably priced set of 20" Style 11 wheels, i am planning to just upgrade the tyres in the nest few months. I will probably follow what Craig has 275/40/22 - i am thinking of either the Conti or Vred All weather. any suggestions, also am i correct in thinking that there are no other alterations to be made- just get they tyres on and balanced etc.

285/40/22 are perfect. I'm running them. Would not consider anything less. |
