One thing of concern is fuel economy, now don't get me wrong I'm under no illusion that this was going to be anything else but a gas guzzler but it really does take the tiddle & not like I'm not used to running V8s. I have the RRC V8 & Last car was an audi Quattro 4.2V8 340 BHP that gave around 17mpg depending on if I drove it like it was stolen & that seems economical compared to this. I put £20 in the other day & only got around 20 miles, correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't I be getting more that that?

To be really accurate you need to do a couple of tank to tank fills. If you can,use the same pump and only let it click once when full.

Mine shows me as getting 17.9 currently and that is driving like miss daisy. When I first had it the mpg was closer to 20. I plan to do a fill with the high octane fuel to see if it changes either the performance or economy. Mileage and fuel records calculated over the last few months shows it to be more like 15.6

Rule of thumb when you drive/own a V8: fill it up when its empty, stop counting.

I got an average of 17 when I had a 4.4. I'm not an economical driver particularly. I don't think I could get it down below 10 without being chased
