Oil change and filters and gearbox oil change and filter 157329 miles on the clock and @ 30000 since greabiox fluid last changd. Same colour as last time. First time to have sump off, a few tiny bits of metal and a coating of some black greasy stuff in the sump, which cleaned up with paper towel. No-one warned me about the additional 1.5 litres of fluid left in the sump, even after draining! Complicated by the fact that gasket sealant holds the thing in place once all the bolts are out and you have to give it a tug! I used a swear word . Drive to the house now quite slippery

Washed the tin tent ready for Easter, then fitted a 13 pin towing harness to replace the 7 pin single one.

Drove the family to Chester Zoo and back - perfect comfort and swallowed all the pushchairs etc that come with two kids under three with ease! 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car! |
