Talkin of fitting a new seal, is it an idea to apply some non setting mastic to the inside of the seal, a bit like you used to do with windscreens before they went to glue fix? Only from where I'm sitting, it looks like a good idea? Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

The new seal has an integral mastic bead already fitted into the seat. |

Are but it don't work very well I've not looked at my new seal yet only the old one that's sort of still working, just. It's only swelled up by the top of the lower tailgate , so it's only the wheelwell, or should be the real well filling up slowly I've had a new seal for a couple of weeks, but every time I have the time to do it, it rains So as it is more of an annoyance, it has been put to the bottom of the to do list. There is nothing in the derr brains bin / cupboard, although the DVD nav did have a fit today, think it was throwing it's disc out and reloading it again, clunk thud whir, clunk thud whir when I turned the car off this morning. Ejected the disc properly, put it straight back in and all was good, well as good as you get from a disc that's 10 years out of date, use the tomtom, doesn't cost £400 to change the map Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
