That's because only parts in a LR box have your seal of approval and everything else is 'cheap crap'

Think you need to find a new parts supplier. You can buy a whole OEM filter kit for less than that ![]() Air, oil, fuel, pollen and breather filter all included |

So your an expert on cosworths now too? Fuchs oils have been in my cosworth running over 500hp since the engine was built over 15k miles ago (changed every 3k miles or after each track day) and used on track with extreme temps not in some 4x4 tractor where the td6 engine is hardly a race engine now is it ![]() ![]() Last edited by JPS on 21st Nov 2014 11:07pm. So you own a 500 then? Going on the 'genuine is the best theory' Ford motorcraft oil is the last thing you would be putting into a cosworth engine so don't be fooled into thinking oe is always the best because it isn't. |

All in all you can say its difficult to find "THE" best oil. It depends of your driving style and usage like daily driver, race trim, short trips etc. But a good 5W-50 full synth is a good allround oil for all seasons IMO. |
