the headlight has to be taken off the FF to change any bulbs in the unit, very easy to do but make sure you have a cloth or something on the bumper as it can get scratched... ... - .- -.

New bulbs IN. Didn't take out the headlight to fit the xenon and the full beam light. Much brighter, more coverage on the road too. We checked the alignment of the light before changing bulbs and it was spot on. We looked at the throw of the light and it started off initially bright and went slightly dim after 5-10 secs. Replaced the xenon and checked again, the light started of quite bright and then got brighter over 5-10 secs and again it was spot on on the alignment. The new H7's made a great difference over the bulbs that were in.

Hard to say Stan, in my case there was a big improvement but my original bulbs weren't that good. They are a lot brighter. The ones I put in the D3 weren't these bulbs and I think these are brighter than the ones in the D3. Full beam is A LOT better.

you have a xenon bulb which is active on dipped beam , when you flick the high beam on there's a little flap that 'opens' up that same bulb to high beam, also the h7 halogens come into play ... ... - .- -.
