Where does this plug behind the headlight control switch go?

Im in the process of putting my dash back together after getting the missing pixels on my cluster fixed but cant seem to find where this white plug (see pics below) behind the headlight control switch goes. Ive had a thorough look around in the dark labyrinth of space with a torch but just cant locate where it should plug into.......does anyone have a clue?

Looks a bit like the one for the light in the trim under the light switch... maybe wrong though... there are lots of plugs all over the car that don't have a home, same loom for all the cars so they have differences... if everything works don't worry about it.... Pete

I have read somewhere that the Vogues with the "Foundry Finish" (Silver Grey) trim never had those courtesy lights fitted to the Drivers and Passenger side but they were fitted in vehicles with the other trim options.

My Vogue MY2002 just has the footwell lights although, again I understand that the wiring was there for the others as part of the loom.

Like you Zain I had thought of buying the light units and then cutting the holes to fit them, but too many other jobs to do first! Peter Kemp

Be pretty difficult to drill the holes for them, it's a casting and the holes are recessed with fittings cast into them, you could just cut a hole and glue them in or just get later/ different dash ends... They changed 05ish and the later ones are different and won't fit.... Pete

Yep that's the one but it's a fairly large hole and I really don't think you could cut it well enough, the edge of it will show as the light is recessed into the panel.... Pete
