Should be an easy one for many of you this.
Today, I'd like to report a recurring fault to the garage but want to do so from an informed position with images of the fault and accurate descriptions.
Two images are below. I think I understand correctly that on either side of the diagram, the driveshaft is pictured but I'm not 100% sure of the official name for the aluminium/ silver square casing or box with the X pattern that sits in between the driveshaft (it was described my a member in another thread I have posted as being possibly the 'front diff casing'. I've done a lot of online, Microcat and Workshop Manual research but haven't been able to see anything definitive).
It is important because the garage has replaced the front diff, the pinion seal and the offside driveshaft seal (amongst other recent works) which I feel must be related, however when the car was in a couple of weeks ago, whilst really accommodating and we are by no means in dispute, they felt this was a leak unconnected to their previous works.
Any accurate descriptions of the below images greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
