Im a newbie to the site (signed up a couple of days ago) so no pm till I hit 3 posts.

I would like a couple of flip keys - only have one original key (bmw style from '02 HSE) though so will require transponders as well. I'm in west london so can visit if required!

Sorry, have read all the posts but still not sure.

I've got a 2004 non touch screen, with 2 keys

Only ever use 1! Are we saying I can upgrade to the new style key by swapping transponder and getting the blade cut? Or do I need to get it reprogrammed etc?

Not sure if you got my PM or not. Will these work with a 2006 SC? I remember reading somewhere that they don't but can't find it now.

Edit: Found it... says that it's for 02 - 05 cars. Take it there's no update on this?

It worked fine on my MY06 4.2SC built in May 2005. It still had the old style key, not the flip key yet. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

i have done a few on 06 and they have worked,i can supply you with one and if it does not sync i will refund you...AS LONG AS YOU DONT GET THE BLADE CUT...cant do any better then that V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

I had a new style flip key from Dave and fitted the blade of a woggered old style key. Only problem it was a fraction too short so you had to push the key down slightly to make it turn. That particular blade worked perfectly in the original flip key housing though (I have the new style, an old and new original flip key housing kicking about, just in case I end up buying an older off-roader some day ). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
