Hi, back from garage & after a few more dramas seems I might be winning !!! After front end steering sorted, rusty subframe done, new brakes & full service it is starting to drive as it should ☺️. Rear subframe bushes next for the garage to sort. I am still having the annoying drivers seat that sets some where random if I lock the car for a short time, doesn't happen overnight, any ideas ??
Also folding mirrors won't stay folded, have tried the double tap method, no joy. Have been told to try battery reset but don't know how & sounds scary to do, any help would be welcome.
At last I am starting to enjoy my rr.

Hi, also does anyone know anywhere to get the dash pixels fixed in the Devon area.

Well when I said I was getting there didn't expect the next bill from the garage !!!!
Needed all new rear subframe bushes etc connected to it. Turned into a nightmare apparently, had to be burned out !!!
Expected a lrg bill £1000, ended up with a bill of £2000 !!!
Apparently it now has a clean bill of health & I am skint !!!
So even though I love the rr still not sure if I made a mistake !!!
Haven't even had the day to day issues have read about....not sure I can afford them now !!
Fingers crossed for a bit of time to enjoy my rr with out any more garage trips

Well clean bill of health didn't last long. Next problem, I have an intermittent problem with front o/s indicator !!! Changed bulb but still only works when it wants, any ideas please.
Also my eas keeps shutting down after 10 mins motorway driving !!! Resets if I stop for 15mins then shuts down after 10mins on the motorway, please help if you have any ideas. Getting to poor to keep going back to garage !!!

Indicator is probably the bulb holder, take it out, switch it on and wiggle it about if it goes off you know it's the holder...

When you say the EAS shuts down, what happens?? and what messages do you get?? Pete

Hi, thanks will try the bulb holder. EAS says inactive HDI inactive ABS light comes on etc. seems not to like going into motorway mode.

Can you raise and lower it with the switch?? Is the led light on in the center of the switch used to raise and lower it?? Pete

Hi, can't move it, the light in the middle does come on so it is locked. After 15mins in services all ok, 10 mins back on motorway same thing happens.

First thing I'd try is to rebuild the pump, sounds like it's not producing enough pressure, get one of these and it's a thirty minute job.... and only £25

Thanks, my first thought was compressor & the kit is much cheaper than new one. I am not a great mechanic so is this kit an easy fit for an amateur ?
