make a list of the problems you have and do a search for each on the forum..this should give you an idea whether you can do the jobs yourself or how much it will cost..

Suspension arms shouldnt be too expensive, and can be done by any local mechanic or diy if you have the kit. The brakes are fairly straight forward and there are many how to articles in the wiki. Just need to make sure the mechanic torques up the suspension when the car is on the ground

As above and remember the jobs you do now don't have to be redone for a while. My last RR started its life with me on about 70k 9 years later it was still going strong bit like triggers broom but still going stick at it will work out - sounds like you already have the bug anyway |

Thanks everybody for your replies, getting the suspension etc done tomorrow costing £1700. Should also get a list of anything else they notice, so I will wait and see !!! Fingers crossed because I have def caught the bug !!

£1700 for some suspension arms seems very pricey, what exactly are they doing??? Pete

Hi, front rear upper lower suspension arms, some knuckles bushes on steering rack. Lots of play in front and can't adjust rear tracking as has seized. Lots of labour costs !! |
