Thing is the V8 kicks out a good bit of heat and as long as the vapouriser is properly tapped into the heater matrix circuit there's no need to worry, as long as there is good flow over it it won't freeze

Yep, no problem when it's hot, it's starting it on LPG from cold that does damage...

£150 isn't expensive, they are a true bargain when you work out the cost of making good ones up the same thickness

Seems it's very "marmite" then.... love it or hate it.... although looks like I'm in the minority.....
Did a mates car in this about two years ago and it's still fine, has to be applied properly, use primer for edges etc and it should last for years, you can always take it off again as it doesn't damage the underlying wood, even the primer comes off easily as it's water based... Started changing the interior lights for LED's as I prefer the white light
