Ordered a 7 pin plug off eBay (£3.99) and an Optimate fused lead (£2.99), cut the terminals off the leads and connected to the plug. Works a treat with my Optimate charger!

Anyone got a wiring diagram please, I have a 16A Ring digital charger and the 13pin Plug but just need to know how to do it...I think there is a kit to purchase over on disco3 ? Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

The optimate lead comes with a built in waterproof fuse holder. I simply opened up the 12s plug and using a diagram, connected it to the plus and minus.

I built my own, buying parts off eBay and with some good advice on the electrical side from nicedayforit.

No, you MUST have the additional 12S (grey) 7 pin socket or the single 13 pin socket. The black 7 pin (12N) socket does not have the connection to the battery.
