As title think my driveshaft might on its way out as I seem to have a bit of a droning noise coming from the front end when accelerating so anyone know rough price for a repair not phoned a stealer yet |

Mick, in 2009, driveshaft for a 4.4 V8 petrol was £95 for the part only. (no fitting costs unfortunately) |

Not the driveshaft if its droning, first port of call is swap all tyres round front tyres to rear & rear to front, if the noise is still there then suspect a wheel bearing |

Ah well got someone to take my car to a garage to get the wheels changed over , so when he comes back will find out if it was the tyres |
