When the dsp is involved, it could be either. When you say the bass stays, is the noise from the speakers or the sub?

Do check the connections on the dsp, as they tend to corrode. Depends how often it happens. Does it happen with car movement, or also when stationary?

The bass channels are there all the time sounds like your are listening with cotton wool in your ears, a few tweaks sorts it out, but it can come and go, I'll sit tight and wait on the outcome of ash's unti

WELL IM TYPING IN BIG LETTERS because I'm slightly deaf from having driven home from work with my stage 2 bm54 fitted.

Other than it not putting out any sound when I turned the ignition on - seems to be cured by disconnecting its multi plug a couple of times, it's well good.

It powered on fine when I got home, so I'm putting that issue down to voodoo.

The sound is slightly more open than with the stage 1 upgrade, and there is definitely more bass with the same settings - actually getting proper bass from the door speakers now.

The biggest change is that volume wise, even though it's only about 5w per channel higher than the stage 1, I've yet to hear any distortion from it. It carries on where the stage 1 stops.

Even with the stock speakers, it's very loud.

If you are at all into your music, and have the BMW kit in your car, this is a no brainier.

Only listened for 30 mins so far.......will need to experiment with dsp settings I think, will get even better.

Them Corsa boys better get ready, Barry Manilow is coming !

Glad to hear you are happy with it. Thumbs Up

Its not just 5watts more per channel difference. You are going from 40-45 watts to 50 RMS watts. So the quality and power is increased.

I fitted it into a 3 series, with just standard 4 speakers all round. And the sound difference was just ridiculous. He couldnt believe the stock speakers could sound so good Mr. Green barisahan@gmail.com

Hi Baris, you recently fixed the sat nav drive on my M3 which had high quiescent current draw, great job. I also have a problem on my Range Rover. The sound from the rear left speaker is very odd, crackles and pops and no real sound. We changed the connector on one of the units in the boot which had some water damage but the problem remains on this channel, it sounds like a digital issue rather than a straightforward amplifier problem. Any ideas on what it could be and what a likely fix might cost? At the moment I just have the sound coming out of the front speakers and all is fine.

Yes I believe it has the DSP, there is a menu I can go in to turn that on and off. It is a 2002 Vogue.

Norway 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

Hey guys.

I just need to get this of my chest. I have just got some items that i actually bought from Baris home to Norway.
I bought a upgraded BM54 radio (upgraded after my specs) and a DVD sat/nav unit. I will send my non upgraded BM54 back to Baris when its disconected and get money back from him for that one.

And even before I have installed this in my car i just need to say that this guy is just AMAZING. The customer service this guy offers is just outstanding. I have never been in contact with a guy that is more interested in keeping me as a customer happy. I am just lost for words. He just delivers every time. Easy to talk to, answers fast on email. Nothing is a problem. And in addition to that...his prices is very reasonably.

I canīt wait to get his stuff in my car. If it performs half as good as the man behind it does...iīm sold. Very Happy Thumbs Up Shocked
