Android Auto - 2011 MY MOST system

Had a search and found nothing....

Has anyone had any luck adding Android Auto (or Apple equivalent I guess) to a 2011 MY?

Investigating -so far it looks like is HASN'T been done, rather than can't Smile

What's needed is a Bluetooth to Optical MOST interface... That carries video (from reversing cam/TV unit etc) to and from a new head unit... I can find a MOST interface to inject the sound from a new head unit back into the MOST bus, but that's not enough....

Like you Stan - I'm inclined to think it can't be done - at a reasonable price - if it's going to be clonky to use, or a couple of grand, might as well buy a different car!

Sadly, Wife's poverty-spec Renault Zoe has Android Auto.... And I don't Sad

this 2010-2012 system is frustrating and not much upgradable....i'd like to get the igo nav on the main screen but that involves a video interface and a car navigation box which will be the good part of £600'ish...

There must be a solution - Something utilising the final stage of the factory DVD player - must be possible to hack RGB or composite video into there - which would then feed out into the car via the MOST?

That won't help with the cotrol side though - rubbish idea Sad
