ok i'm a bit confused , does pressing 753/ok actually switch on the 'tv in motion' or do i have to do something else like go through the diagnostics to a particular page .. |

After selecting the 753 and OK, you then select the 'video input test' from memory and then select TV and then the PAL button and you should have TV then visible. One thing I did note was that you need to be on the channel you want to watch before doing the procedure as when you then use the left/right arrows (below touchscreen or on steering wheel) this searches for the next channel (as oppossed to skips to the next one in your 'listings') which on mine defaults from the freeview one I am on and goes to the analogue ones of which there are none in my area.

thanks mate, so the additional procedure of selecting video input test ,then selecting tv ,and then pal , completes the 'unlock'.. |

I know I'm stating the obvious here, but this will reset back to normal once you turn the ignition off so you would have to repeat the procedure next time you start up. Steve

Sooooooooooooooo, you were watching TV, whilst driving and videoing yourself doing it! You just needed to be applying lipstick and drinking a coffee to complete the set! This is where you need someone who can actually reprogramme the software to default to TV on without the need for a cable. Steve

I decided it wasn't worth it for the number of times I would actually use it. Discovery 4 HSE

my biggest gripe has to be my co pilot (SWiMBO) can't change the sat nav whilst we're on the move. No reason why she shouldn't be able to declare herself passenger - maybe linked to weight on the seat, like a seat belt monitor - and change the nav. |

you can get a module fitted(£250.00ish) which lets you have tv on at all times and has a secret button for switching it off again just in case. The new satnav maps and software upgrade to be able to change satnav destinations etc on the move. i have the 09/10 maps and it works a treat. |
