Looked at 2 local cars today, turned up unannounced to see the cars cold. Both were TDV8's.

The first one was verbally sold when I got there. Stornoway 07 reg 88k £19k, I straight away picked out 10 small bodywork scratch's which could probably have been put right by a 'smart' repairer but makes me think the car has been a bit neglected.

Second was a black 07 reg. 92k £18k, new tyres but due a service. Cracked fog light, the other one very damp inside. Was a bit surprised when I got in as front windscreen was DRIPPING with condensation. Turned heating on and a damp fishy smell filled the cabin. Checked the sunroof but no condensation. Badly fitted windscreen I wonder? I did notice that when the dealer started it the second time he did it by leaning through the passenger door. I thought all auto's needed a foot on the brake pedal to start??

Have to say, this is the first time I've heard a TDV8 running and it was a lovely tune. Puts my SDV6 in the shade.

3 others I've had my eye on have now disappeared so they are clearly moving at the moment.
