a 3.8amp charger would take well over a day to make sure a battery was in good nick! jeepers my ctek can take 24hours to pull the flat 90ah one in my FF upto scratch and its an MXS5 unit Smile

from personal experience those small cheap chargers are only really good for small sub 1.6litre petrol cars or motorbikes really. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Better than nothing though, if you've already got one or as a cheap spare. Wink

True in that it's good as a topper upper or trickle charger if it supports it as long as you aren't running anything else in the car at the same time Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Yes - you can wire up a battery to the tow socket & then open the doors.

Obviously, the cabling is too thin to try starting the car, but at least it will let you unlock the cat to open the bonnet.

Many Thanks.

I have an old absaar charger, seems to work at charging things well enough, cant really justify 90 sheets on a nice shiny ctek.

like the idea of martins adaptor Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

You can also modify the charger's connector to make it non latching:

Martin,

Are these still available as I can't seem to find them on the forum shop?

Thanks
