Think yourself lucky you changed the alt twice on a petrol not a TDV8 |

had a similar issue last year..if the alternator goes the likely hood of the battery failing concurrently are high...

Sadly, it's a copy, not a Bosch but for the money and not being 100% at the time that it was the alternator, I decided to give it a go.

I had a new copy. lasted 4 weeks before the bearings packed in! ended up with a recon bosch in the end. a few places round here will overhaul for about £80. I've got an old one I need to have reconditioned and then put on eBay. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]
