Can the sat nav warning be turned off with IIDTool?

You know, the one that comes up when you turn satnav screen on, that requires you to accept before you can use?

Also can the CD changer be told to 'remember' its set to 'random' when ignition is cycled.

Thanks.

Just transferred the funds for the IID, hope to receive it soon since I'm heading to Spain for a 1 week trip in about 2 weeks and would like to have it in the dashboard just in case. Can't wait... Both for going down South in the FFRR as well as for the IID... Mr. Green Mike.

IIRC 'Nav on the move' unlocks destination entry whilst moving, not sure what 'nav mode' is tho

Exactly for nav on the move. Nav Mode is required to be switched on for nav on the move as well, but nav on the move only works with certain software versions and certain country coding.

Unless we re-write the oem software and make the option of reflashing this to the original ECUs available (=very expensive Shocked ), we are limited to allowing you to turn the options LR provided on and off. These options are sometimes constrained by sw or country coding as above. AFAIK, the option to turn warnings on and off was never provided. Rather, it is a part of the nav sw.
Sorry...

Wow, got the IID connected and there appeared about 24 faults... Also some lights on the dash switched on, got a message regarding HDC unavailable, suspension issue, etc.... Cleared all faults, turned of the engine, locked the car and after a couple of seconds unlocked the car and started it without any problems or lights being activated. To be sure took a drive around the area where I live and all looks good!!

Tomorrow off to Spain for an 1800 km trip with the IID in the dash... Don't know much about all the capabilities yet but already love it!! Thumbs Up Mike.

I notice there is a new IIDTool available, comes with integrated BT so you can connect your phone which

This alternate interface allows for more in-depth diagnostic capabilities and added functionality.

How can us faithful early-adopters acheive this functionality without buying a whole new unit?

I do hope the legendary IIDTool DEV customer support gives us some way to achieve this - maybe a licence transfer or a swap old for new scheme?
