Yes I feel for you there mate but I do think that using fuel that would invalidate a warranty may have had something to do with the major injector problems you had/having...

So, if one were to purchase an '07-onwards FF and keep it for 3 years, the most reliable would be either of the TDV8 variants?

as with anywhere people will always make more noise when something isnt working rather than when it is but the later 3.6 TDV8's seem to be better with less issues.

Turbos die in 80k miles. Superchargers need a new rubber belt, and an oil change simply adds power.

DPF's can be deleted but only after a certain age have them anyway.
