I have had similar problems, I took all units out to find out what the problem was. Obviously water damage, pins of the TV-unit where rusty, so I cleaned them out and had to solder the positive + straight from the print to the cable cause the pin broke while cleaning, and wanted to try to get it to work before spending money. After that everything worked well except for my NAV witch I had to replace for the 2nd time . Since then I kept my AC on all the time and haven't seen any water since. But I did cover everything with some plastic's.... just in case.. |

I've had a look at most of the plugs and all seams ok? When I get some time I'll go through everything with a fine tooth comb!

Take out the MK4 anyway, and try to find a TV tuner, the are not so expensive. I've seen them go for 60 to 100 pounds. try to go from there, you might end up cheaper than replacing for aftermarket. |

I've finally decided a new double din aftermarket system is the way forward.
