United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

On my way home from work, i came across a poor chap who had decided that the perfect car for wading through the floods near me was a petrol vauxhall vectra......... Whistle

needless to say the water was up to the top of my wellies and the poor chap had stopped at a place where he couldnt open the door to his car as it would fill with water. Big Cry

after a bit of rooting we found the towing eye and i dragged him out. Thumbs Up

its getting a regular occurrence, when will people learn that saloon/hatches/estate cars are not boats. they are not designed to ford any depth of water especially over 16". I saw a BMW marooned the other day, an Audi spotted him panicked and tried to reverse, then concked out, hazzards on, in the flood. Banging Head

Its not a short length of road probably about 1/2 a mile which gets covered and the deep bit is in the middle, so once you are in thats it.

Im pretty sure the engine may have been scoobied. Ah well FF to the rescue again. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Went towing. This time a 3.5t indespension trailer with a few tonnes of breedon buff gravel on it, had to use the ff as the payload was too much for the hilux to manage......only rated to tow 2.25t. (pants) There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
