It can be fixed! The plastic piece where the tube is connected can be removed and inside theres a 10x16x4 simmerring that costs less than 1euro and that can be replaced. Then the plastic support that originally was thermally fitted can be simply attached with 4 screws. This way one can change the simmerring anytime. If needed I can post pictures. |

If you could that would help because personally I don't understand the word 'simmering' in this context, could you explain that some more? Discovery 4 HSE

Maybe I haven't got the english name right, a simmerring is a rubber radial joint with a spring in it that allows rotation while insulating, here's a picture: |

..and thatīs the inner view of what happens when inner seal ring is not longer leak-proof and why wiper stops working....(not much difference to old Lucas wiper motors from the 50s, but this wiper motor is from 2003)
