Please don't use main beams for DRL (even at a reduced %) as it's confusing to other road users - basically it's worse than having your lights off. |

No, not all lights, just reduced power main beams like a Golf, and was only for one journey yesterday before turning them off. Thanks for the lovely polite comment though 07 Supercharged - Still breaking her in! Martin, why is it confusing to other road users? |

I presume because a main beam is aimed differently/higher than a low beam, so the even a less brighter beam will still be inconsiderate to other drivers/riders of motorcycles. |

I accept that it may be dazzling if set too bright, but i'm not sure why it would confuse folk. The idea is to get the attention so they dont pull out in front of you. If that works then job done imo |

Craig, do you have the standard bulbs or something more stylish? I find mine on at 40% makes my car look like a 90's Volvo

Most drivers are as daft as a brush. I wouldn't want even the slightest chance of confusing anyone such that they pull out in front of me. Could see insurance kicking up a fuss too Running on dip as DRL should be plenty. |

At the moment I am driving with the headlights activated as DRLs. Looks more normal than the inner main beams being on (which are more orange in colour compared to the Xenons). I could change the bulbs but I think it looks more balanced using the xenons. Tom

I have activated speed related locking, is there an option on the processor for auto unlock? I know some cars unlock the doors when you remove the key from the ignition.

Nope, one of my little annoyances too - it locks but doesn't unlock! Damned annoying as my BMW did this when you stopped the engine. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
