Any one else had 'Safe Mode Active' flash up when using IID Gap Tool then DS2 Count and ISO Count?
mine did this last night and I have no idea what they mean.

Hi Adrian,
Chatted with Christian to make sure nothing was missed.

Safe Mode Active appears when communication to Engine Control module can't be established.
When this occurs, the menu is slower because the cruise control button state is obtained via an alternative (slower) method.
Two reasons this to occurs ;
1- Key is in accessory instead of ignition. The menu can be called up but engine and some other ecu's are not awake.
2- bad connection on ISO bus (PIN 7 of OBD connector).

ISO and DS2 count can be used to debug the problem.

How to reset air suspension

Ok this might be a stupid question, but instead of disconnecting the battery, how do I reset the suspension with the iid tool?

To date I have been selecting "re enable eas". Is this correct?

A couple of questions.

Will the IDD tool allow me to enable auto-locking?

Also can I turn on the feature that leaves the headlights on for a few seconds after I turn off the ignition.

Finally can I use the tool to find out which parking sensor is not working?

Thanks!

If there is an error on your parking sensors the IID tool should interpret the code and tell you which sensor caused the error.

The other way is to switch on the parking sensors then lightly touch the sensors with one finger and listen for the clicking sound. The "dead" one will not click Thumbs Up

Is there anything the IID Tool can do to the "sensitivity" of the Auto Headlights? Mine don't seem to come on until way after all other roadusers have "lit-up", and are still on long after I've donned my sunglasses!
