Are you sure it's not the fuel guard ? There's a flap thing that can sometimes be partially engaged and needs resetting. Ebay - solves all your problems |

As above, turn to the 9 o'clock position, fuels no problem. |

If you can see a yellow flap, then it is the mis-fuel flap preventing the diesel going in, you need to reset it. Turning the fueling nozel upside down may help but will not fix the problem 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

I reset mine by gently pushing the yellow flap with the end of a 3 ft breaker bar as the landrover tool supplied with the car only moved it to a sort of half set position 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

I find if you keep the nozzle high so not down the neck too far works fine on mini and RRS - if I put it right in shuts off on both and on fl1 I used a quarter turn Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
