as most know the td6 can sound like a tractor so how much quieter is the s/c 4.2 ... ... - .- -.

A helluva lot quieter as i had the TD6 before the SC ….. sometimes i had to put the window down to make sure the SC was running

thanks mick, is that because the s/c was a facelift with maybe better sound insulation .. ... - .- -.

Yeah probably , but still a helluva lot quieter than my 03 plate TD6 more so in the cold mornings …

yep, if i can get fairly decent money for mine..seen a few nice ones on ebay and autotrader and as i dont do much mileage it seems a good idea... ... - .- -.

I do that all the time in the TDV8 Mick You don't need a SC to do that! You must have better suspension than whats on my TDV8 Adam , coz i wouldn't attempt it on this ….. Not until i get the suspension lowered ==================================== "Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy |

I noticed that the tyres on mine do protest loudly at being hurried round bends, screaming and carrying on but as I am not married to them I just ignore and carry one.
