If something can't be fixed with a hammer....... You have yourself an electrical fault!

It turns over just fine i have flattened the battery now but it is back on charge now. Like I said it has a spark compression and the plugs were wet with fuel so I am stumped!

My lpg guy is coming tonight so fingers crossed he can shed some light on it

Failing me finding the problem does anyone know of a range rover specialist in my area maidstone in kent?

Right here we go!
My LPG guy has been round and we have deduced that the lpg's ecu is fried and is dual fuelling!
With the petrol supply pipe clamped we can run on gas as great as you like. If you pull the lpg out of the equation it runs also just on petrol.
So new ecu to stop the twin fuelling and also a new battery as a precaution!
As thinking back I had the screen say reduced power a week or so ago.
Will update with the final findings and hopefully a resolution!

Ok the saga continues!
The LPG Ecu was tested on another car and there was no problem with it!
So today I pulled the intake off the top of the s/c when I disconnected the vacuums pipe from the intake to the back of what must be a fuel rail pressure sensor combined with a vacuumed sensor. It flooded out fuel!
Turned the ignition on to 2nd position and fuel streamed out of the vacuums pipe.
So as far as I can see the fuel rail pressure sensor failed and let fuel bypass into the throttle body causing it to dual fuel! This can be the only way it can fuel if the LPG system is working correctly.
I am pulling the s/c off tomorrow as it has had a small bearing grumble so will let you all know the outcome once I have had it rebuilt.

Has anyone got the procedure to remove the throttle body from the s/c? Is there a bracket beneath or something.

well after all finally repaired!
Fitted a new SC unit from landrover and all is well.
Untill the next thing!!
If anyone needs any advise on replacing a SC I am now pretty confident on giving advise on the removal and installation.
