Can the IID tool be used to switch on/off the service due display (milage/date countdown etc) when the key is first turned? Mine's currently switched off and an indy I used failed to find a way to switch it on for me with whatever diag tool he had. He suggested the instrument cluster may need a reflash, but put a health warning on that so I declined. The car is late 06 so an early MY07 facelift. Cheers Mike - MPx

Hi Stan - that was the first question I asked: if the alarm was working. Glad to hear that this bit is now OK. Chris is going to take a look into your DRL probs. He may contact you directly. I am off to the beach for a week or so... RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |

Evening Patrick, could this be added to the 06MY VSE please? I have it on most of our other cars and would really appreciate it on my RR too...

Thanks for this Steve - hope your hols are good! Patrick, my take on Steve's answer is that by doing a "reset" it will (or at least might) switch the function back on. I'm guessing that if it does work, the car would then display 15000 miles next time I switch on as the start of the next service countdown. I was hoping for something closer to an on/off flag somewhere, and if switched on would actually show the current status (eg 1250 miles to go to next service or whatever). So is it the case that there's nowhere to look to see the current status albeit not currently dashboard displayed???
