Just to emphasise that you must have ‘Park’ selected when the fluid level is set – clearly it would be risky to be working under the vehicle with the transmission in gear. However, each gear position should be selected in turn & held for 3 seconds before Park is engaged (to ensure that the valve block galleries & clutch lines are filled). The most critical thing is that the engine should be ticking over while the final level is being set and that the sump fluid temperature is between 35 & 45 deg. C Phil |

not done it yet but got a "transfer failsafe prog" message coming up now, no problems in sport mode |

it turns out the pump has gone in the gear box, i need full overhaul @£1700 +VAT |

i did think it was slightly glitchy whilst driving the previous weekend, but put it down to driving another car all week. The mrs had been driving it more than me lately but she would only notice if it didnt start. |
