Just hooked up the tintent (caravan) having had the 7 pin socket replaced with a 13 pin one for the new van and the green trailer light is on all the time. On my old D3 this used to flash with the indicators. Can anyone confirm if this is normal please?

This thing has a mind of its own. My trailer light never comes on, although all the lights work fine.... |

The answer is yes ,the green light should be permanently on to confirm you have trailer electrics connected |

I have been towing with mine for nearly five years and never knew there was a green light.

Mine has trailer electrics and i tow often... My green light does not stay on on any of my past three FF's! Why/what did the indy do? Mine has always been plug & play...

Just to join the fun - mine stays on all the time when I have the light board of my bike rack connected.

Mine was a Westfalia 'plug n play' and does stay on. But I do use a converter, to convert from 13pin (I'm not sure if that makes ant difference)

Pretty sure handbook claims trailer light ON when hooked up. It's because you'd never notice otherwise |

As far as i know, and have been told by both the indy and the main agent, the land rocer kit is not plug and play, it will work but requires programming to activate the shut off for the parking sensors and ride height. Aparently.
