Well, yet again the FFRR failed the mot. All 4 front lower arm bushes. I replaced these arms only two years ago and they're shot.

I think you would need a hydraulic press to get the new ones in |

Wouldn't disagree with that. However, I'm sure its possible with a hand held bush extractor whilst in situ, so to speak.

As a matter of interest who supplied the replacement arms I would expect to get a lot longer out of the arms unless your doing some heavy duty work with the jeep. |

Island 4x4. I got two years out of them. That's just driving on-road commuting, and covering about 8,000 miles. I did call them. They said there was a 2 year guarantee. I was out by two weeks! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

That's appalling - I'd do that mileage in 2-3 months - and I wouldn't be expecting to change anything that quickly - even if the roads where you live are worse than the surface of the moon. Cheeky gits. |

That's the problem with a lot of aftermarket parts, they just aren't the same quality as OE |

I'm hoping that these genuine bushes will fit the aftermarket arms now! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

@47p2 : That's true - but the inverse can be true also. Sometimes the aftermarket guys fix a weakness in an OE part. Obviously not in the case of these particular items. |

That is shocking, I am having my rear bushes (ooh er misses) looked at next week so will keep the OEM parts in mind.
