That could be handy. Does it need a motor. I am going to spend a little time going over all the posts about this as I am not really sure what's involved and I also have the reach thingy not working either (although I can hear the motor running ) so it would be good if I could fix the lot whilst I am in there. |

Removed the cowl today to find out what's exactly wrong. Not surprised to see the PO has been in before - the tilt motor was unplugged and I could see why. To be fair he had told me that the tilt didn't work when I bought the car but I see that as per normal, two of the four tabs are broken off and he drilled and tapped a hole & screwed in a bolt to stop the wheel dropping any lower. So I plugged the tilt motor back in and carefully tapped the switch to move the broken casting hard up against the bolt. Then unplugged the motor to avoid the risk of destructing this arrangement. Luckily the wheel is just where I want it. Not ideal but free. As long as it's safe & gets through its retest, I don't see why not.

Hi, you need the white plastic part QYH500030, easy to fix with small hand/fingers..., dismount the right dashboard shape, and you can look inside with a lamp. Best wishes, Uli L405 SDV8 2017 + Lancia Flavia Coupe 1964 + RRS L494 3.0 SDV6 + C220CDI Convertible 2021 |

My column adjusts fine with the lever, and when I take the key out the column goes up but doesn't retract is this normal on an 07? My previous 02 went up and retracted? Or is something broke? |
