Drove to work... staring out the window.. a low loader drives past with a range rover on it, thought I'd check the forum... Laughing

Looked like a green supercharged, should have shouted out the window "it's the fuel pump!"

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

Doncaster => Nottingham => Kidderminster => Doncaster circa 300kiles on the clock to half a tank...

Spent 20minutes at the side of the road just after the journey started due to HDc inactive and abs/tc inactive and had to do the 15minute battery reset on the car then lock to lock steering wheel and short drive.

Then a fast motorway run followed by loads of traffic in notingham(kinda why I wanted to be early) then over to Kidderminster for to setup some machines for a D3 member and resolve some other problems they had as well and then back home for a lovely omelette missing lunch out again but helps keep the spread at bay Very Happy

Avg for the day is 23.2mpg according to the computer which considering it spent some time relearning is good I think Smile

Followed an ssrr tdv8 which smoked everytime he tried to touch the loud pedal... Hope his doesn't go the same way as my rental did!!!

Also saw a lovely d3 G4 near Kidderminster this afternoon Smile

All in all a good day, my back is a bit better, I have 1more happy customer and the ffrr got to stretch its legs a bit and move some kit for me Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.

"What Did You Do In Your Full Fat Today?"

9AM: Rudely awakened by the alarm ( 3 time since Friday )

10:40AM: Ordered a new FSR from Dan, the last one was only ~3 months old!

11AM: Opened bonnet to check the alarm sensor which was replaced just 5 months ago!

11:01AM Went to close the bonnet, wouldn't lock shut, spend a good 20 min spraying WD40 on every part of the bonnet lock and release system, pumping the release lever, amazingly that fixed it !

12:30PM: Get into the car to drive to the beach for a walk, start the engine, noticed left side rises slightly and then the horrible moment you realise you have a slow air bag leak on one side.

2PM: Drive onto the beach and realise there's 2 miles of sand to drive on

2:10PM Had a paraglider fly his engine kite along side me for a mile down the beach

3PM Switched to off-road height (all sides raise correctly) and had a go driving up an impossible sand dune! Amazing at how far up it got!

4PM Get home happy, all is forgiven

Getting the new disks and pads fitted tomorrow too! I wonder what else the day will bring Very Happy
