Nope - Trumpington Road but going in at about 12.30.

Not paying attention in traffic, managed to mount a Mercedes coupe, pulled its back wheel out and dented its rear wing. Full fat has a scratched wheel and a misaligned front bumper. The Mercedes was left undrivable, mine is going to garage tomorrow to check all is well underneath.

Not quite today but at the weekend i did the landrover driving experience in Skipton, unbelievable what these ffrr's can do with standard tyres! Learned a lot about the setup of the car too which is a bonus!!!

Was tempted to turn left instead of right out the carpark and give it a blast in mine.

Only downside is I now want a 4.4 tdv8, makes my 3.6 seem rubbish in comparison

Had my Td6 remapped. I wish I'd had it done when I got it 18 months ago. What a difference...

Also fitted the nice new RR wheel centre caps to replace my tatty old ones. Quite happy with them.

Went to visit my daughter a couple of weeks ago in the highlands and noticed I had a n/s rear caliper sticking. I changed the o/s front caliper last year so decided that instead of faffing around I might as well change the other three as the n/s front was just starting to stick and the n/s rear looked as though it wasn't working properly either.

So today I changed the three calipers and everything seems fine again until something else crops up

Done 120 miles today and the new calipers are working a treat and an added bonus of the fuel consumption increasing now that the brakes are not sticking

Changed my rear callipers and pads. The Fixed near side pad was almost down to nothing but the offside pads were almost like new! It must have been sticking for some time, I was only aware because they started to squeal recently. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Got rid of the FFRR Stan?

Lots done today:

Wing mirrors opened up, microswitches fixed and put back on. Folding mirrors now working.

Installed the cargo nets for the boot. 2 x side nets and one boot floor net won on ebay for £42. All OEM in original packaging. Top buy.

Also 'fixed' the CD changer by it with the end of a screw driver. It worked and now I'm back enjoying AC/DC's Back in Black.

A good FFRR day.

Got the 4.4TDV8 its first service as it is a year and 2 days old.
I got the oil from site sponsors Opie Oil (10litres for £82 inc FedEx delivery) and the service came in at £235 (originally at £380 if they provide the oil and thats with a 10% discount!!)
They also said they did a software update on the heated seat problems we were having and programmed the FBH remote so it works now.

Collected a new set of wheels...for the A8
