Funny you didn't get any errors with it. Mine shut down the air suspension altogether when I got a hole in the front. Useful info for others though should the same fate befall them. .

It's really not that difficult to change the front air susp strut yourself. Check my howto on the wiki. .

Thank you, i'll try that, but what is very bizarre, is that the car rised to the normal height, and to the off road height, and stayed for about one hour without leak... |

Mine only evidenced itself when I put it into off road height using All Comms to reset. before that the leak was protected by the sides of the airbag. You might have to do some "lifting" of the wheel arch to get it hissing? Doesn't sound like a leak at the airline joint to the strut, but it could be at the valve behind the wheelarch liner. Play with it with the window down and the door closed (so you can operate the switch and the air susp remains active) .

Might be a long shot and I'm trying to remember back sometime but I seem to recall a similar problem on my 2005 td6, can't remember the exact faults it was showing up but it all turned out to be the silencer on the exhaust on the compressor blocked so not allowing it to work correctly, apparently on the newer models they modified this part, when Landrover assist came out the chap just twisted/snapped off the brass snapped part and it cured it, although it did make the compressor slightly more noisy. Cheers Ben |
