Funny you didn't get any errors with it. Mine shut down the air suspension altogether when I got a hole in the front. Useful info for others though should the same fate befall them. .

I think I have the same problem for Two or three days...
Tried all the common think to do, didn't fix the problem, and I can ear a little hiss on the left.
I'm good to spend lot of money Confused

I hope the leak is not on the air bag, but on a airline... I can dream ?
Last three months : water pump, fuel pump, front suspension... lovely girl Whistle

It's really not that difficult to change the front air susp strut yourself. Check my howto on the wiki. .

I read it several times, thank for all your DIY, they all are very wellcome Bow down

This evening, after my day work, I went to the parking, and try starting the car... oh miracle, or whatever, but the car rises to a normal height... no more hissing sound from the front left airbag. I then drove the car for about 10 kms, stopped at a station for fueling. After 15 minutes, the car still at the same height, and no more hissing noise. I drove the car back to the parking, and what a surprise, again Air suspension inactive... Big Cry

I stopped the car, disconnected the battery, used the RSW solutions tool, and again, the hissing noise appeared.

Banging Head Banging Head

I'm not sure it is a leak on the airbag as the car stayed ok for about one hour without any problem. If it was a leak i'm not sure it could disappear alone ?
Is there a valve on the suspension strut to deflate it ?
could it be a problem like that ?

Easiest way to check:

Put car in off road height, then have a good feel around the airbag with your hand to see if you can find a leak, especially if you can hear the hissing, or spray with soapy water and look for bubbles.

(Leave door open once in off road height to lock it off) .

Thank you, i'll try that, but what is very bizarre, is that the car rised to the normal height, and to the off road height, and stayed for about one hour without leak... Confused

Mine only evidenced itself when I put it into off road height using All Comms to reset. before that the leak was protected by the sides of the airbag. You might have to do some "lifting" of the wheel arch to get it hissing? Doesn't sound like a leak at the airline joint to the strut, but it could be at the valve behind the wheelarch liner. Play with it with the window down and the door closed (so you can operate the switch and the air susp remains active) .

Many thanks,

I'll have a look, but in my case, it should be when the car is at the lowest level. When it is in off road mode (when she accept to rise this height), no hissing noise.
If it is the airbag, i think it depend more of the position of the wheel than the height

Got mine back today, the indie showed me the old unit, he suspects it had a small hole that was only leaking at certain positions, until it split, it ended with a split about 3cm long.

Glad its back and working all fine again Reformed

Might be a long shot and I'm trying to remember back sometime but I seem to recall a similar problem on my 2005 td6, can't remember the exact faults it was showing up but it all turned out to be the silencer on the exhaust on the compressor blocked so not allowing it to work correctly, apparently on the newer models they modified this part, when Landrover assist came out the chap just twisted/snapped off the brass snapped part and it cured it, although it did make the compressor slightly more noisy. Cheers Ben
