Try some Dr Tranny addative to see if it helps. It's a temporary fix but may put you on a while until you need to spend £££. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Thank you. It’s a bit weird TBH. I don’t tend to floor the accelerator, it does feel occasionally that the drive is trying to catch up with the engine. It kicks down without shudder and pulls uphill without shudder too.

It's a small tube of fluid (friction modifier) you squirt in through the gearbox fill plug. Won't damage the gearbox but if it stops the shudder you will know the TC is on it's way out. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

The only time I ever had a shudder on acceleration in my old L322 was when one of the rear brake cylinders had seized. |

Good point made by Baz, I had an M62 engined L322 a few years back that did the same thing and that turned out to be a rear brake calliper seizing. Drives:

Easy to check by feeling the wheels after driving it. If it is seized you won't have to drive far before it heats up quite a lot so hold your hand near to feel for any heat before touching it. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
